Delicious! Dry apricots, hint of nut, touch of lemon/melon on the finish . Classy stuff ... Superplonk 2002 (2000 vintage) |

Tasting Notes / Comments: | Pale lemon in colour, lime-tinged aroma which is quite pronounced (although not that `heady` as the rear label enthuses). The palate is dry, light to medium bodied with quite a tart slap of acidity after the grape and apricot flavours. Good length though. Slight spritz detectable. Andrew Barrow (2001 vintage)
Good oaky fruit and honey smell with a straw colour. The taste it was felt did not live up to the nose. It is a dry wine with a sharp/bitter after taste. A light garden drinking wine accompanying goat’s cheese canapés! 'Enjoying Viognier' (2000 vintage)
