Tasting Notes / Comments: | A fine example of wine made entirely from the Viognier grape. Typically aromatic with hints of white flowers and apricots, on the palate a smooth and refreshing wine. Can be drunk alone as a tasty apéritif or for example as an accompaniment for goats cheese or even mildly spicy and oriental food. Pic Wines (2002 vintage)
Light lemon with a green tinge. The nose included a rubber or burnt smell … some likened it to mouldy cheese. Oak was also apparent. The taste was described as pungent with a hint of almonds or nutmeg. It had a good length. 'Enjoying Viognier' (2000 vintage)
