Tasting Notes / Comments: | A honey blossom and orchard nose from a pale sraw coloured wine. Thin to taste but with fruit and a light oakiness. Surprisingly it has a good length with fruit remaining in the mouth. 'Enjoying Viognier' (2003 vintage)
This wine is typical of the more delicate style of Viognier. It exhibits a perfumed nose of dry rose petal, herbal notes and hints of apricots. The palate is a unique combination of persistence, elegance and texture with typically low acidity. The Mitchelton Vineyard Series is a range of varietal and blended wines using grapes sourcedfrom selected distinguished vineyard sites within Central Victoria. everywine.co.uk (2000 vintage)
