Tasting Notes / Comments: | A pronounced bright, clean appearance with green fingers. The nose is clean sorbet with lime, slight floral overtones and a hint of peach. Peach can also be detected on the palate of this full, well rounded wine. The grapes, which are always picked fully ripe, are sourced from Fredric Roger’s own vineyards and from other growers who he works closely with to ensure high standards of quality. The Viognier variety is now highly sought after although until about 15 years ago it was rarely seen outside its native Northern Rhône where it is used to make Condrieu. everywine.co.uk (1999 vintage)
