Tasting Notes / Comments:A clear, bright and vibrant color. Kiwi, melon, and herbs on the nose. Dense, nicely concentrated flavors of mint dried apricot, underripe peach, and minerals, finishing clean, almost "dusty" . A fine example of what Australia can do with Viognier.
Virginia Wine Guide (2002 vintage)

This is a delicious light and fruity wine. Its nose says Viognier - honeysuckle, lemon with a touch of apricot. Tasting it is sheer delight - tropical fruits balanced off with a healthy bit of acidity - and it lingers like a good friend. It will probably go well with a spicy fish starter - but don't taste it beforehand - you are likely to finish the bottle before you eat!
'Enjoying Viognier' (2001 vintage)

Golden in colour, the Yalumba Viognier is an enchanting wine with aromas of lemon and honeysuckle with hints of spice. The palate is rich, luscious and silky with juicy tropical fruit, citrus and lychee. These exotic flavours are intensified when paired with food - try with lightly spiced Asian dishes such as stir-fry noodles or a green chicken curry.
Yalumba (2001 vintage)

This is one of the most exuberant wines we stock and comes with such an enormous nose that you might expect it's legs to go weak. This legendary hooter is all about viognier, peaches and cream, fragrance and honey. When you take a sip it's bold, full and spicy. You will note that, in fact, its legs are quite strong due to its heady alcoholic nature. So look out! Great for quaffing in the sunshine.
Virgin Wines (2001 vintage)

This is a full-bodied dry white from Yalumba with a gorgeously perfumed scent and a ripe, peachy fruitiness.
