Tasting Notes / Comments:Pure nectar from Pierre Gallaird one of the top producers in Condrieu. We picked this late harvest Viognier up on a visit to Condrieu …… it has great rarity value and a price to match but who cares.

Clear golden yellow in the glass. An intense experience on the nose and in the mouth …. It is almost impossible to separate them. Dreamy honeydew, strong honey syrup with bags of fruit and that delightful delicate touch of acidity that provides the perfect balance.

Pam, one of our tasters, thought it was probably the best wine experience she had ever had! You could happily drink and drink this wine and not feel overpowered ….. forget the food, try it with the last act of La Traviata!
