Tasting Notes / Comments:This is a light drinks party wine, pale golden green in colour with smells that are welcoming and full reminding us of honeyed apricots. The taste is of a wine that is fresh, fruity with good acidity. It lingered on the tongue with liquorice and a hint of ginger.
'Enjoying Viognier' (2001 vintage)

Fact - We love this wine. Fact - It loves to be loved. Fact - You have made the first steps to loving it too. The grape variety viognier is regarded by many as 'sexy' - we agree. Not that we or you should feel guilty about labeling a wine as sexy, just shut your eyes and take in the rich, musky scent of apricot fruit. The luscious fruit in the mouth is wonderful.
Virgin Wines (1999 vintage)

The Viognier style is dry, full-bodied and aromatic with notes of bitter almonds and ripe, peachy-apricot flavours, balanced crisp fresh acidity and good, long finish.
" Subtle, but undeniably Viognier on the nose, with peaches, nectarines and soft summer fruits. The palate is rich and full." Tony Bevan, Buyer.
Bibendum (1999 vintage)
